Start teaching about graphic novels

Graphic novels can improve literacy and reading comprehension, help with vocabulary development, engage reluctant readers, motivate English language learners, teach sequencing, and are multimodal.  They can teach about cultural differences, activate imagination and explain why we emote.  Don't take my work for it...try teaching about graphic novels in your classroom and watch student engagement soar!
